Your First Visit at St. Andrew’s
We can't wait to meet you! Please be our guest. Please join us for worship in person or by livestream on Facebook or Youtube.
Here is what you can expect:
-
We are located at 7859 Tick Neck Road in Pasadena. Look for a big sign and rose bushes by our fence.
-
We have plenty of parking.
-
Expect to be greeted. We are happy you are joining us, and we want to say hello and get to know you. If you want, we would love to have you give us your contact information so our priest can reach out to you. This is, of course, optional.
-
There will be a service guide (also called a bulletin) available. It contains everything you need to participate in worship.
-
At various points in the service, we will sit, stand, sing, speak out loud and kneel. You might notice slight differences in how people do these things, because we all have different backgrounds and learned differently at different times. You can do as much or as little as you want.
-
Our Sunday worship service lasts about an hour or a little more.
-
Holy Eucharist, also called communion, will be celebrated. The priest will explain that all baptized Christians are welcome to receive and provide any additional instructions.
-
Children are welcome in worship, even when they make a little noise. Bring them with you!
-
Part way through the service, we will share the peace. We great one another, saying “peace” or “peace be with you” or “hi, nice to see you!”
-
Restrooms are located in the main entry hallway and are handicapped accessible.
-
Please join us for coffee hour in the parish hall after the 10 a.m. worship service. This is a relaxed way for us to get to know one another better. Stay for just a few minutes or as long as you want.
