Jason Poling

The Rev. Jason A. Poling is St. Andrew's 6th Rector.  Prior to taking on orders in the Episcopal Church, he served as the founding pastor of New Hope Community Church in Pikesville.
 
Fr. Jason serves as Ecumenical Officer for the Diocese of Maryland, and on the Compensation & Benefits and Program & Budget Committees, in addition to chairing the Nominations Committee.  In addition to his role at St. Andrew's Fr. Jason is the founding Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute in Baltimore.
 
Prior to earning an S.T.M. in Anglican Studies from General Theological Seminary in New York, Fr. Jason earned graduate theological degrees from Seminary of the East (since merged with Bethel Seminary, St. Paul), St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute and Biblical Theological Seminary (now Missio Seminary, Philadelphia).  His work has been published in The Living ChurchAnglican Theological ReviewChristian Century, and the Journal of Ecumenical Studies, among other publications.
 
Fr. Jason and his wife Mary, a musician, have two daughters in college.
